Site Reliability Engineer II (DBA)

📋 Description

• Site Reliability Engineer with DBA focus for production databases.
• Manage Vitess (distributed MySQL) and Cassandra; build automation and observability.
• Support incident response and on-call rotations to keep customer systems reliable.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to improve reliability practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in site reliability, systems engineering, or DB-focused operations.
• Strong Linux administration, monitoring/alerting, incident response, and SQL/NoSQL database
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go; familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker; experience with Vitess or
• Hands-on experience with MySQL performance tuning, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ITIL/OSS practices is a plus.
