Skillbridge Program: Electrical Technologist

📋 Description

• Assembles and installs process and auxiliary equipment in assigned facilities, using heavy
• Assists in design, fabrication, installation, operation, troubleshooting and repair of engineering
• Assists in specifying, procuring, assembling, debugging, and maintaining custom-built and
• Installs and terminates wiring for data acquisition instrumentation on lab equipment such as flow
• Performs acceptance testing following new equipment installation including hydrostatic, pneumatic
• Supports day-to-day operations of the assigned facility including startup, monitor, and shutdown

🎯 Requirements

• No prior experience required; experience working in mechanical or industrial environments preferred
• Must be actively part of Skillbridge via the U.S. DoD
• Experience using hand tools and power tools for mechanical applications is a plus
• Experience with electrical systems or Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) systems is a plus
• Ability to understand and follow technical procedures
• Ability and interest in being cross trained and learning different processes to perform other jobs
