Smart Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical

📋 Description

• Design, implement and own Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) and other mechanical /
• Develop production test jigs and verification systems (e.g. fixtures, subsystem assembly jigs
• Take designs from concept through detailed CAD, documentation, manufacturing support and
• Define and improve standards, frameworks and documentation practices for mechanical and mechatronic
• Proactively identify current and future bottlenecks in production processes and propose data-driven
• Collaborate closely with Production, AIT Engineering and other Engineering teams to ensure systems

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical engineering focused on production
• Proven track record designing and delivering mechanical or support equipment (MGSE, lifting
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing production test jigs or verification systems
• Understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software/controls integration
• Strong CAD skills and experience from concept through manufacturing and commissioning
• Experience in high-reliability production domains (space, aerospace, automotive, robotics
