SMT Rework Technician - Multiple Shifts (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Own and execute new product introduction (NPI) rework builds across all relevant work centers
• Program, qualify, load, and operate automated and semi-automated rework equipment; own equipment
• Lead triage of non-conforming PCBAs, drive root-cause resolution, and implement preventative
• Own resolution of production rework issues while safeguarding design integrity, product quality
• Own the successful transition of rework processes and tooling from development to high-volume
• Identify, prioritize, and deliver continuous improvement projects that improve rework yield

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate and 3+ years of professional experience with SMT
• Possess IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and/or IPC-7711/7721 (rework/repair) certification.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, science, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience owning SMT rework equipment operation, programming, and process
• Direct ownership of SMT rework equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and support
• Proven experience implementing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) specifically for complex SMT
