SOC Engineer I (Mexico)

📋 Description

• Monitor and respond to alerts across security, network, systems, and cloud platforms.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to triage, resolve, or escalate issues appropriately.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and daily operational activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to develop technical and investigative skills.
• Participate in on-call rotations and shift coverage as required to support 24x7 operations.
• Adhere to company policies, client requirements, and compliance standards.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Internship experience or relevant coursework in networking, cybersecurity, or systems
• 0-1 year of experience in a help desk, technical support, SOC, or IT operations environment.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as phishing, malware, vulnerabilities
• Basic knowledge of networking and systems concepts including IP addressing, DNS, firewalls, and
