Software Data Engineer, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design end-to-end data flows from ingestion to modeled datasets powering products, Digital Twin, and AI.
• Build reliable incremental pipelines with deduplication, late-arriving data, and watermarking.
• Model context across machines, lines, factories, sensors, work orders, and tenants for structured queries and AI.
• Partner with platform/AI teams to expose datasets via APIs and context graphs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degrees valued.
• 4+ years in backend platforms, distributed systems, or data-intensive apps.
• Strong Python, SQL, and data modeling; production-grade data systems and pipelines.
• Experience handling duplicates, invalid, and late-arriving events while maintaining correctness.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data tech such as Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, or BigQuery.
• Experience with streaming/messaging systems such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, NSQ.
