• Build internal tooling, services and APIs that let engineers provision, change, migrate and

• Strong backend engineering: Write production-quality software in a general-purpose language such as
• Relational databases from the application side: You've run a relational database in production.
• Distributed systems fundamentals: Understand retries, idempotency, consistency trade-offs and how
• Cloud and infrastructure as code: Solid AWS experience, including IAM, RDS and networking basics
• CI/CD: Built and maintained delivery pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
