Software Engineer 1

📋 Description

• Contribute to design and implementation of features meeting requirements.
• Develop full lifecycle code from development to production and fixes.
• Participate in release planning with reliable estimates and quality.
• Engage in code reviews and collaborative engineering practices.
• Take part in daily standups, sprint ceremonies, and retrospectives.
• Participate in security reviews to comply with Sophos security requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundations in CS (data structures, algorithms, design, debugging).
• Code experience via academic projects, internships, personal projects, or open source.
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems and reason through trade-offs.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, willingness to own, and continuous learning.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
