Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Join a fully remote role within Bulgaria with option to work from Sofia office.
• Work in a self-organizing, cross-functional product team with other engineers, PM, designers, and
• Design, build, and maintain TypeScript, React, Java, SpringBoot based applications.
• Follow engineering practices: automated testing, code reviews, you built it you run it.
• Contribute to product discussions and help shape the future of Appfire products.
• Balance ownership of day-to-day work with collaboration to improve processes and outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years delivering multiple complex software development projects.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, ideally React.
• Willingness to learn multiple frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong engineering approach with foundations in CS (algorithms, OOP).
• Strong web app architecture understanding: performance, quality, security.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and modern cloud architectures.
