Software Engineer, Agentic Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Own and evolve the infrastructure that powers Vercel's build and deployment lifecycle - from
• Design and operate high-performance microservices that process millions of builds daily, ensuring
• Lead projects end-to-end: from identifying opportunities to defining technical direction and
• Collaborate across teams to align infrastructure with company-wide goals and ensure seamless
• Shape the long-term vision of agentic infrastructure at Vercel by setting standards for
• Participate in the on-call rotation, taking responsibility for the reliability of critical systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating backend applications and distributed
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to navigate and improve complex
• Strong proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• A track record of end-to-end ownership from design and implementation through to long-term
• Skilled at cross-team collaboration, able to influence priorities and drive alignment toward shared
• Able to reason about technical direction and architectural tradeoffs, balancing long-term vision
