Software Engineer (Backend)

📋 Description

• Drive the architecture and implementation of Lendbuzz's core platform to ensure high scalability
• Build and maintain Python backend services behind RESTful APIs and event-driven (Kafka) workflows
• Modernize legacy architecture: migrate our core platform to containerized AWS services and split
• Improve CI/CD and developer experience: faster test runs, better deploy workflows, and smoother
• Strengthen reliability through monitoring, health checks, autoscaling, and well-run scheduled jobs
• Work with product and platform teams to unblock delivery and make shared systems easier to build on

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
• 5+ years of production backend software development experience, with proficient Python expertise
• Self-driven, adaptable, and creative problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-changing
• Proven track record designing scalable microservices and complex event-driven architectures using
• Familiarity with agentic development workflows and AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or
