Software Engineer - Backend + AI

📋 Description

• Collaborate with principal engineers on development planning and architecture design, including
• Design, build and maintain distributed, clean, testable, data-oriented applications, increasingly
• Use AI coding assistants and agentic tools as part of your daily workflow to move faster without
• Improve service reliability, scalability and performance, including systems that integrate with LLM
• Own your code all the way to production with a self-service continuous delivery pipeline and
• Dive deep into host-level problem-solving and help improve detection methods

🎯 Requirements

• Great alignment with our principles (check out the handbook)
• Solid knowledge of common algorithms & data structures
• Experience developing medium/large-scale web applications and distributed systems in production
• Experience with common design and architectural patterns
• Comfortable with working with AI coding assistants and agentic workflows (e.g. Copilot, Claude
• Genuine curiosity about how AI is changing software engineering, and interest in experimenting with
