Software Engineer - CarPlay

📋 Description

• Design and integrate Apple CarPlay features within Android Automotive OS.
• Implement CarPlay connection lifecycle features, including management and projection.
• Develop Binder/AIDL IPC for CarPlay projection services.
• Build state machines and service lifecycles for reliable CarPlay.
• Debug system-level issues such as crashes, ANRs, and memory leaks.
• Use debugging and profiling tools like ADB, logcat, Perfetto, and Android Studio Profiler.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in automotive or embedded systems.
• Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Java, and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Android system-level development, including AAOS or AOSP environments.
• Solid understanding of Android services, Binder/AIDL communication, and system service lifecycles.
• Experience developing or integrating Apple CarPlay projection technologies.
• Strong knowledge of JNI and native debugging practices.
