Software Engineer, CDN (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and scale a new CDN for Starlink
• Build robust, scalable distributed systems
• Build tools, visibility, and alerting for real-time operations
• Design algorithms to optimize hardware utilization and cost
• Implement systems that shape traffic across multiple CDNs
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or 2+ years software dev exp
• Software development experience in C, C++, or Rust
• Advanced degree in CS or engineering (preferred)
• Networking experience (preferred)
• Distributed systems experience (internship ok) (preferred)
• Edge Networking, DNS, traffic management, caching, load balancing, TLS, DDoS, or monitoring (preferred)
