Software Engineer (Core Infrastructure)

📋 Description

• Build, operate, and scale the Browserbase Core platform with distributed backends.
• Collaborate with Engineering to support teams building on Core.
• Define scope, priorities, and deliverables on the roadmap.
• Establish best practices for development, operations, and reliability.
• Enhance the platform to meet growing customer adoption.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience building and scaling distributed systems across many instances.
• Strong Go or TypeScript expertise; bonus with Firecracker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, queues, and relational DBs.
• Performance optimization and zero-downtime multi-region deployments.
• Systems-thinking mindset; understand infrastructure impact on customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high ownership.
