Software Engineer, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design and build streaming and batch pipelines for analytics
• Build scalable storage for petabyte-scale time-series data
• Improve data quality, lineage and high-availability infrastructure
• Shape architecture and AI-powered tooling to improve the platform
• Contribute to open source projects in data processing
• Make architectural calls to keep the platform ahead at scale
• Write production code in Java and Python

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineer with production platforms or distributed systems experience
• Clean, maintainable code with strong CS foundation
• Hands-on with big-data frameworks (Kafka, Flink, Spark) and TB→PB data
• Deep distributed-systems knowledge; anticipate failure modes
• Platform builder who creates enduring systems
• Proficient in Java or JVM languages (Scala/Kotlin) or quick to learn
