Software Engineer, Ground Software

📋 Description

• Review and understand the current Ground software stack
• Map mission workflows and identify gaps and tech debt
• Build automated tooling to improve ground procedures
• Enforce code quality, standards, and testing across teams
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into actions

🎯 Requirements

• 3-8 years in cloud-based scalable microservice architecture on AWS (EKS/MSK/Timestream/S3)
• Experience owning services in production
• Experience supporting mission-critical services
• Strong communicator with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to deliver reliable, high-quality code
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related STEM; Master's preferred
