Software Engineer, Identity & Access Controls

📋 Description

• Build identity verification and vetting systems (KYC/KYB) to identify customers
• Design and implement access control to grant, scope, and revoke access
• Configure safety systems and detection thresholds per customer
• Develop monitoring to detect misuse of expanded access and enable enforcement
• Detect and remediate account takeover
• Integrate with third-party identity verification and data enrichment vendors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent
• Experience building and operating backend systems in production
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with identity, authentication, or authorization systems at scale
• Experience with KYC/KYB workflows or identity verification vendors
• Experience in trust and safety, fraud, or abuse detection
• Experience detecting account takeover or credential compromise
• Experience partnering with ops teams to build internal tooling
