Software Engineer II

📋 Description

• Work across the stack from a code commit to running it in production for our Platform, the shared
• Design, develop and test backend services and APIs from inception to rollout, including model and
• Build reliable event-driven integrations (Kafka, Celery)
• Integrate and operate LLM providers (OpenAI, Google Vertex AI/Gemini, Anthropic) securely
• Write high quality code that is scalable, testable, maintainable and reliable
• Independently own and drive new features from scratch, working with Product, QA, DevOps and partner

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Python on the backend (FastAPI or similar, async programming)
• Strong knowledge of creating scalable REST APIs and clear API contracts
• Working experience with MongoDB; Redis and relational databases are a plus
• Experience with message queues and background workers (Kafka, Celery, RabbitMQ or similar)
• Practices TDD and has experience writing API and end-to-end test automation
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming concepts
