Software Engineer II

📋 Description

• Join the Momentum team under International Growth to build features driving user growth.
• Deliver high-quality learning experiences to millions of Duolingo learners.
• Work with product managers and designers to create engaging iOS experiences.
• Gain experience on iOS, run experiments, and collaborate to improve DAU.
• Develop, release, and maintain native iOS apps, primarily in Swift.
• Contribute to code reviews and collaborate across teams to ensure quality and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Solid foundation in computer science with data structures, algorithms, and software design
• 2–5 years of experience programming in Swift
• Strong proficiency in Swift, with production-level app experience
• Strong knowledge of iOS mobile development for iPhone/iPad using Swift and Cocoa Touch
• Experience designing clean, maintainable APIs
