Software Engineer II - Audit & Logging

📋 Description

• Implement features and bug fixes across our audit and telemetry pipelines in Go, working within
• Build and maintain integrations with Splunk, Datadog, Chronicle, and Microsoft Sentinel
• Work on features that keep audit records accurate, retained correctly, and accessible in real time
• Partner with senior engineers to build understanding of streaming systems, security telemetry, and
• Work with teammates across IAM, Threat Detection, and Platform teams to understand how your work
• Proactively identify and help remediate gaps in logging coverage and event data quality

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience with strong foundation in building and shipping
• Proficiency in Go or strong background in another typed systems language with ability to ramp
• Understanding of how distributed systems work (replication, latency trade-offs, failure modes)
• Some exposure to streaming or messaging systems (Kafka, Flink, or similar) is a plus
• Exposure to containerized environments (Kubernetes) and SQL databases; experience with Terraform is
• Ability to clearly document work, ask good questions, collaborate effectively
