Software Engineer II - Backend

📋 Description

• Build, maintain, and scale backend services and their support tools
• Participate in architectural definitions with innovation and creativity
• Work with product and experience teams to influence the distributed tracing roadmap
• Create automation and tooling to make systems scalable and easier to deploy
• Work in an Agile DevOps environment with on-call rotations
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and investigate production issues

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and scaling in production
• Strong experience writing software in Kotlin and Java; comfortable with Go
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming: streams, event-driven flows, task queues, and message queues
• Agile/DevOps environment experience with on-call rotations
• Collaborative, shared code ownership mindset; adaptable to AI-driven workflows
• Proficiency in English
