Design and implement core SMTP relay components (MTA, IP, encryption, DMARC).
Co-build production relay with infra engineers toward full ownership of services.
Collaborate with PMs and Solutions Architects to translate requirements into relay configurations.
Own and operate tier-0 mail flow services with high volume production SLA and on-call rotations.
Contribute to design discussions on relay integration with inline products and Mail Flow.
Raise engineering excellence via knowledge sharing, runbooks, and team development.

🎯 Requirements

BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years backend software development with distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with Go and/or Python.
Experience building features from scratch and owning them in production.
Comfortable with ambiguity and 0-to-1 projects.
Experience working with distributed teams; proficient in asynchronous and written communication.
