Software Engineer II (Python) - Supply & Demand

📋 Description

• Own commodity balance end-to-end in Airflow, incl. on-call.
• Lead bug/incident resolution in pipelines, DBs, and APIs.
• Extend anomaly-detection/data-quality gate (Prophet-based).
• Generalise S&D data model and ETL framework for new commodities.
• Design milestones; write ADRs and review designs.
• Build data-distribution APIs (Oil/Grains TS) for web app and clients.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years as a software engineer delivering production systems.
• Own end-to-end features in production (design, ship, monitor, fix).
• Strong Python for data work (pandas/polars, SQLAlchemy, ORM).
• Debug and operate production data pipelines; on-call experience.
• Shaped half-defined problems into delivered solutions.
• Desirable: Airflow; TS/Node APIs (NestJS/Express) experience.
