📋 Description

• Join OpenAI's Infrastructure org to design, build, and maintain scalable systems across distributed
• Work on core areas like distributed systems, reliability, observability, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and researchers to define strategy and long-term
• Improve internal tooling, automation, and developer experience.
• Contribute to incident response and postmortems to improve system reliability.
• Build high-performance, scalable infrastructure for OpenAI products like ChatGPT and the OpenAI API.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills with experience in Python, Go, C++, Rust, or similar languages.
• Experience designing, operating, or scaling distributed systems or developer infrastructure.
• Comfort with Linux and tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and modern observability
• Ability to navigate complex systems and dig deep to debug tricky issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional settings.
