Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Go) - remote in the US

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for bare-metal server lifecycle and cluster operations.
• Develop asynchronous provisioning workflows for enrollment, OS provisioning, and cluster bring-up.
• Implement consoles/interfaces to visualize hardware inventory, provisioning progress, and cluster health.
• Ensure reliability with error handling, idempotency, and reconciliation loops for long-running provisioning.

🎯 Requirements

• API Development: RESTful APIs or gRPC services with versioning and gateway patterns
• Go: Proficiency for backend development
• Kubernetes: Deep knowledge of primitives and controller/reconciler patterns (k0rdent, Metal3, Cluster API)
• Bare-Metal Provisioning: Hands-on with BMC/Redfish, PXE/iPXE, image management, hardware inspection
• Asynchronous Systems: Experience with workflow/event-driven systems (Temporal)
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps-driven configuration (ArgoCD or Flux)
