Software Engineer, International

📋 Description

• Build payment infrastructure that works across multiple countries, currencies, and regulatory
• Design multi-currency accounting and reconciliation systems at scale
• Integrate with international banking systems and payment rails (SEPA, BACS, and SWIFT)
• Take on both 0-1 work (launching new markets) and 1-N work (scaling existing ones) simultaneously
• Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, product, ops, and external partners to navigate
• Own problems end-to-end — from architecture to production reliability to partner integrations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience in high-scale production environments
• Strong systems design skills — comfortable taking ambiguous requirements and building reliable
• Experience working in fast-moving environments with high ambiguity and independent ownership
• Comfort with distributed systems, performance optimization, and production reliability
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience in fintech, payments, or capital markets (international payment rails, FX
