📋 Description

• Design, construct, and oversee Tailscale’s Funnel and DERP relay infrastructure.
• Promote automation to ensure scalability, availability, and performance.
• Offer architectural guidance and troubleshoot escalated networking problems.
• Partner with internal teams to advance hosted services and clients.
• Contribute to the open-source client and dataplane to support connectivity.
• Collaborate with teams asynchronously in a fully remote setting.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record in networking software dev and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in VPNs, NAT traversal, routing, and IP addressing.
• Experience with distributed systems and global-scale services; SRE/DevOps.
• Go language experience; Go is highly desired.
• Strong communication and ability to work autonomously.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced startup.
