Software Engineer - Openflow

📋 Description

• Join Snowflake's Openflow team building a real-time, scalable data integration platform.
• Work on Openflow’s control and data planes for bi-directional data movement.
• Contribute to distributed systems for batch and streaming workloads.
• Deliver small projects end to end with guidance from senior engineers.
• Operate, monitor, and improve reliability of built components.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design across locations.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years building and operating backend or platform services.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, systems design.
• Experience with distributed systems concepts (concurrency, replication, streaming).
• OS and networking basics; multithreading, memory management, debugging.
• Proficiency in Java (or similar OO language like Scala, Go, C++).
• Experience building cloud-native services on at least one cloud provider.
