Software Engineer, Power Optimization (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Write highly reliable ground and vehicle software to control thousands of satellites in low Earth orbit.
• Develop constellation optimization algorithms with engineers to meet satellite requirements.
• Design future constellations; define requirements and build simulations for rapid iteration.
• Own the full code lifecycle: development, testing, verification, rollout, monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in CS/engineering/math or 3+ years software dev.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust.
• Experience with production software where reliability and correctness are essential.
• Strong performance know-how; profilers, SIMD, memory optimization a plus.
• Knowledge of version control, testing, CI, builds, deployment, monitoring.
• Strong math and physics knowledge.
