Software Engineer, Release Engineering

📋 Description

• Write software that scales – tens of thousands of tasks are run to build, test, and release Firefox
• Collaborate with senior+ engineers to improve developer experience and implement improvements
• Work with a geographically distributed team between North America and Europe
• Participate in code reviews and support release automation during outages (normal hours)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in an object-oriented language (preferably Python)
• Passionate about CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud resources (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Comfort developing on Windows, macOS, and Linux; shell scripting
• Experience with distributed teams across time zones
