📋 Description

• Partner with product teams on short-term, high-impact performance and observability projects.
• Dive into major incidents to uncover root causes and drive systemic fixes.
• Design, build, and promote reusable resilience patterns and tooling.
• Own and advance our observability strategy, standards, and tooling.
• Mentor engineers to raise performance and reliability across the organization.
• Define and drive SLOs for critical user journeys to boost reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Deep expertise in observability: metrics, logs, traces.
• Instrumenting distributed systems.
• Mentoring engineers and explaining complex ideas clearly.
• Ability to listen with empathy and influence teams without authority.
• Initiative, comfortable with ambiguity, and driving projects in evolving environments.
