Software Engineer - Scala

📋 Description

• Solve challenging business problems and build highly scalable applications.
• Design, document and implement new systems in Scala 2.x/3.x.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Scala, FS2, Akka, cats-effect.
• You will write code per product requirements, create automated tests, contribute in system testing, and follow agile SCRUM.
• Interact with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services using the latest tools and technology.
• Develop scalable real-time low-latency data egress/ingress solutions in an agile delivery method.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Scala 2.x/3.x.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• API-driven development with REST and JSON; Agile (SCRUM) with JIRA.
• Strong functional programming: Scala, FS2, Akka, cats-effect.
• Experience with relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle.
• Experience with AWS stack (RDS, S3, Lambda, Redis), Docker, GitHub; SSDLC and SCRUM.
• Experience with Selenium and Appium for web and mobile automation is a plus.
