Software Engineer, Traffic

📋 Description

• Own edge networking config: routing, WAF, rate limiting, cert mgmt, ship traffic changes.
• Evolve the ingress layer for reliable, observable, self-service inbound traffic.
• Manage DNS across internal clusters and external zones; make resolution invisible by design.
• Build network observability: latency, error rates, routing visibility.
• Support regional expansion by extending networking into new geographies; scalable.
• Define team practices and standards (SDLC, AI tooling, chaos engineering, simulations).

🎯 Requirements

• Experience shipping production services in a polyglot env (Go, TS, or similar).
• Experience diagnosing production network issues; understand proxies and load balancers.
• Kubernetes networking in practice: ingress controllers, DNS, network policies.
• Infrastructure as code in practice; design change safety and governance.
• Experience building internal platforms/tools driving adoption across engineering; OSS.
