Software Engineer, User Co-Experience

📋 Description

• Backend Engineer on the Co-Experience team building age-appropriate social features.
• Develop and maintain a platform-level Party System for social coordination.
• Scale services to support millions of concurrent users.
• Collaborate with product, design, UXR, frontend and backend teams.
• Partner with infra, matchmaking, chat, voice, trust and safety teams.

🎯 Requirements

• An undergraduate/graduate degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in microservice architectures addressing scalability and reliability.
• 1+ years building systems behind consumer-facing APIs for many users.
• Strong server-side development skills in at least one compiled language (C#, C++, Java, Golang).
• Strong product intuition and ability to design with user outcomes in mind.
• Track record using AI-assisted development tools to speed prototyping and production code.
