Software Engineering Manager, AI Migrations

📋 Description

• Manage and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, giving clear feedback and building growth
• Recruit, hire and onboard engineers who can succeed in both customer delivery and engineering
• Grow technical delivery leads and engineering leaders, including staff-level engineers
• Foster a culture of creativity, innovation and practical decision-making
• Lead complex migrations from legacy platforms such as Oracle, Teradata, Netezza and SQL Server to
• Provide strategic oversight so projects align with customer objectives and Snowflake's goals

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical roles spanning customer-facing delivery and engineering
• 5+ years of people management experience, mentoring and developing technical teams
• 3+ years of experience building and delivering enterprise software products, ideally involving
• A proven track record of leading teams through complex data platform migrations and cloud
• A strong foundation in databases, data warehousing and data processing, with hands-on experience on
• A deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and the full data analytics stack
