Software Engineering Manager, Data & Analytics

📋 Description

• Define and drive strategy for analytical data infrastructure.
• Design boundary between transactional data stores and the analytical layer.
• Architect and own the reporting framework for stream-aligned teams.
• Partner with product leadership to translate analytics needs into a technical roadmap.
• Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team of data and analytics engineers.
• Stay hands-on to review critical design decisions and help your team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data/analytics with 2+ years in engineering management or tech lead.
• Experience designing AWS data infra: Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3.
• Understand when to use operational vs analytical stores and the pipeline.
• Data modeling, ELT/ETL, analytics-ready datasets.
• Experience building analytics framework used by multiple teams.
• Experience owning data pipeline observability (monitoring, SLAs).
