Software Engineering Manager (Hands-On) | MMS Users

📋 Description

• Lead the MMS Users team in Brazil as a hands-on Engineering Manager.
• Develop, deploy and maintain services focused on performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Integrate with 3rd party APIs and tools to power marketplace capabilities.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile environment prioritizing people over process.
• Maintain the project technical vision and align it with global scale needs.
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies and handle edge cases at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent experience; strong mentoring and team leadership.
• Experience architecting large-scale multi-tier web apps and complex modern web apps.
• Cloud experience (AWS / GCP) and RESTful service development with frontend collaboration.
• Strong CS fundamentals and knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in one or more languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++ etc.); Go a plus.
• Excellent English communication across culturally diverse teams.
