Software Engineering Manager II

📋 Description

• Lead, coach and develop a team of software engineers, setting clear expectations and individual
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Analytics and Operations to define priorities, roadmaps and
• Own planning and delivery of the team’s engineering roadmap, proactively managing dependencies and
• Work with senior engineers to establish sound technical direction and make appropriate architecture
• Improve the reliability, scalability, security, observability and cost efficiency of the systems
• Establish effective engineering practices covering design reviews, testing, deployment, incident

🎯 Requirements

• At least eight years of software engineering experience, including designing and operating
• At least two years of experience managing and developing software engineers.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating LLM and generative AI solutions, including model
• Understanding of AI system risks, including hallucinations, data privacy, security, reliability
• Strong foundation in backend engineering, distributed systems, APIs, databases and cloud
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
