Software Engineering Manager, Web Platform

📋 Description

• Lead design and implementation of web solutions for Nearmap's digital presence.
• Own end-to-end delivery for website initiatives from requirements to production.
• Act as the primary technical contact for Marketing and business stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Lead and support a small engineering team, fostering collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record delivering modern web apps, incl. high-traffic sites.
• Technical leadership or senior engineering background; comfortable without PM/TPM.
• Hands-on with Storyblok or similar headless CMS (Contentful/Sanity).
• Experience working with non-technical stakeholders (Marketing/Design) end-to-end.
• Frontend skills: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS; React and Next.js.
• Web performance, SEO, accessibility, and conversion optimization.
