Software Quality Operations Specialist

📋 Description

• Join SWQOps, ensuring safety, reliability, and quality of Waymo Driver.
• Support end-to-end ML flywheel for scaling technology and expansion.
• De-risk new deployments via triage, field monitoring, and early issue detection.
• Collaborate across AI/ML, vendor workflows, and market-entry processes.
• Drive data-driven insights and SOPs for AI-enabled quality improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and partner with multiple teams to improve tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or 4 years in AV software quality operations.
• Experience across ML lifecycle: data prep, training, validation, deployment, monitoring.
• ML testing/validation, dataset QA, bias detection, edge-case testing, stats-based eval.
• Proven ability to implement new concepts and tools; strong problem solving.
• Experience with driving rules/regulations; collaboration in diverse teams.
• Preferred: SQL basics, ML/LLM concepts, robotics ML experience.
