Software Quality Operations Specialist, Safety Evaluation

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership to enhance workflows and quality in SWQOps for Waymo Driver.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineering, and vendor teams to deploy AI/ML quality tooling.
• Design and implement quality control for human and AI-generated outputs; perform meta-quality
• Partner with Engineering to deploy ML/Gen-AI models to improve issue discovery and triage
• Leverage AI-driven insights and traditional signals to identify on-road issue trends and risk
• Scale workflow operations to support 24/7 coverage for multiple cities and platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA with 4+ years in QC or AV software quality operations.
• Strong understanding of driving rules, safety risk assessment, and kinematic principles.
• Experience across ML lifecycle: data prep, training, validation, deployment, monitoring.
• Ability to learn new concepts and tools; excellent cross-functional communication.
• Proven ability to execute and drive outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.

🎁 Benefits
