Software Test Engineer II

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain automated tests from manual scripts and test cases.
• Collaborate with Engineering to provide input on requirements and design.
• Execute tests for API, web, and network/infrastructure apps referencing databases.
• Build and maintain automated test suites with CI (Jenkins, GitLab Runners).
• Reproduce and debug issues; verify fixes prior to release.
• Document test plans, cases, procedures, and reports; plan test schedules.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python or Ruby programming; experience with automated tests using BDD (e.g. Behave).
• Git version control, branching, PR workflows, submodules.
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting automated tests in CI pipelines.
• Hands-on with virtualization (VMware ESXi) and basic OS admin (Linux/Windows/MacOS).
• Working knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, routing) and firewalls.
• Ability to work independently with supervision and adapt to new tech/processes.
