Solution Architect

📋 Description

• Own backend solution design for payments products (card acquiring, wallets, BaaS, crypto).
• Design AI-native, cloud-agnostic architecture with security, scalability, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and analysts to translate needs into modular designs.
• Create docs, diagrams, interface contracts, and component specs.
• Contribute to API design and service decomposition.
• Lead AWS-based cloud migration with Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform.
• Enable zero-downtime deployments, automated rollbacks, scalable patterns.
• Run architecture reviews and collaborate with delivery teams to implement designs.
• Be a tech compass across engineering, driving architectural maturity.
• Identify tech debt and long-term design risks; propose mitigations.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in architecture roles, fintech or high-availability systems.
• Experience designing scalable backends in AWS or hybrid clouds.
• Hands-on Java backend, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
• Distributed systems, event-driven architecture, microservices, CI/CD, observability.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience leading design reviews across multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication to align tech and business needs.
• Comfortable in fast-paced cross-functional environments with LATAM/EU/APAC collaboration.
• AI/ML integration into backend systems (pipelines, agents, MLOps).
• Awareness of AI-driven engineering practices and emerging AI technologies.
• Hands-on use of AI tools (LLMs, AI-assisted tools) to boost productivity.
• Background in financial services, payment gateways, acquiring, wallets.
