Solution Architect (Government Presales Team, JR580)

📋 Description

• Analyze customer needs in tenders, RFPs, RFIs, and procurement requirements
• Gather and synthesize business needs across stakeholders to define drivers
• Perform ballpark estimates and high-level risk evaluation
• Design end-to-end solution concepts, architecture vision, and tech stack
• Review and compare options using trade-offs and evaluation methods
• Collaborate with sales, BAs, UX, and domain experts to shape proposals
• Prepare technical proposal content: architecture vision, diagrams, assumptions
• Support workshops, discovery sessions, and proposal presentations
• Ensure solutions are feasible, secure, and deliverable
• Develop proofs of concept to reduce solution risk
• Contribute to SOWs, qualifications, and delivery concepts
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and business stakeholders
• Support transition from presales to delivery with knowledge transfer
• Continuously improve team processes and templates

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software development (.NET, JavaScript, or Java)
• 3+ years in technical leadership and software architecture
• Experience with pricing, estimation, and proposals
• Government sector or compliance-heavy environments
• Strong AI solution understanding for pre-sales engagements
• Hands-on support for RFP and RFI responses and bids
• Enterprise architecture, cloud (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity, data
• Define architecture drivers, quality attributes, constraints, and trade-offs
• Non-functional requirements knowledge; ISO 25010 familiarity
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Stakeholder engagement and trusted advisor relationships
• Business-focused thinking; connect tech to business impact
