Solution Architect (Public Sector)

📋 Description

• Advise on design/architecture/implementation of Appian solutions on private cloud or on-prem.
• Support sales with high-value Appian-based solutions and delivery roadmaps.
• Present and vet integrated solutions and complex designs to customers.
• Assist configuration, testing, deployment and operations of Appian apps per agile practices.
• Advise on development practices, program management, governance, and DevSecOps delivery automation.
• Lead CS innovations to strengthen Appian delivery capabilities.
• Collect and distill technical challenges into common best practices.
• Support whitepapers and pre-sales proposals.
• Base salary range: $150,000 - $275,000 USD.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years advising on government cloud design/implementation; 10+ years multi-tier design.
• Secure gov cloud hosting on AWS/GCP/Azure; lead gov cloud environments (C2S/JWICS/GovCloud).
• Federal proposals and whitepapers experience required.
• Extensive federal program/project management and IT delivery with Scrum/SAFe.
• RMF experience preferred.
• DevSecOps pipelines and infra automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet) preferred.
• Willing to travel 10-15% incl. SCIF engagements.
• US citizenship required; public trust/DoD clearance; TS/CI Poly preferred.
