Solution Engineer - Tooling (Vehicle Intelligence)

📋 Description

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers evaluating Applied's simulation and data tooling.
• Lead demonstrations, PoCs, and integration workshops for the full toolchain.
• Support integration of Applied's platform into ADAS/AD CI/CD pipelines (SIL/HIL/VIL).
• Design closed-loop data flywheels: collection, curation, labeling, scenario extraction, and evaluation.
• Configure scenario-based testing and automated pass/fail metrics for validation programs.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights and manage multi-stakeholder programs.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in ADAS/AD development, validation, or simulation at OEM/Tier 1 or tech company.
• Hands-on experience with software testing methodologies (unit, SIL, HIL, VIL) for automotive.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in automotive/embedded software.
• Understanding of ADAS sensor types (camera, lidar, radar, ultrasonic) and their data characteristics.
• Experience with data management pipelines: ingestion, curation, labeling, or scenario extraction.
• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field.
• Intermediate programming experience in Python and/or C++.
• Strong written and verbal English; German or another European language is a plus.
