Solutions Architect - Financial Services

📋 Description

• Partner with sales to help customers see Databricks value
• Lead technical evaluation and adoption of Databricks for customers
• Consult on big data architecture, run PoCs, and validate cloud integrations
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demos
• Promote open source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog) in communities
• Travel to meet customers in your territory

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Comfortable programming in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R
• Experience with global system integrators or financial services tech
• Experience building solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
• Experience with SQL-based Data Warehousing (OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
• Undergraduate degree or higher in CS, Applied Math, or Engineering
