Solutions Engineer (Singapore)

📋 Description

• Act as the pioneering technical voice for Tailscale in APAC.
• Co-own regional book of business with AEs and drive complex deals.
• Lead discovery workshops, deliver tailored product demos, manage POCs.
• Engage in R&D activities; write code and build tool integrations.
• Document field insights and feedback product, engineering, GTM teams.
• Build reusable demos, blueprints, whitepapers, and docs for the org.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-5+ years in a customer-facing SE/Solutions role for networking or enterprise cloud software.
• Proven ability to operate as a founding regional hire or in an early-stage startup.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls.
• Comprehensive understanding of zero-trust networking, IAM (SSO, SAML, OIDC).
• Hands-on with AWS, GCP, Azure and container environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Technical storytelling skills linking architecture to business outcomes.
