Solutions Engineer - Washington DC

📋 Description

• You are the technical lynchpin through the sales cycle.
• Educate, empower, and ensure customer success on the Cloudflare platform.
• Apply expertise in Cloudflare’s network to design best-fit solutions.
• Train and onboard new customers via video conference or in person.
• Develop firewall rules, caching strategies, and delivery optimizations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to scale outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go).
• Expertise in OSI layers 1-7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), TLS.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and SASE concepts.
• 12+ years in a customer-facing sales or consulting role.
• Technical curiosity and passion; stay current with Cloudflare tech and trends.
• Focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growth.
• Project management, relationship building, and EQ.
